Step1,新授语音部分
1)T: New Year’s Day is coming. Two children give me a present. Look at this picture.(出示G部分的图片)What can you see?
S: I can see a box.
T: Is it new or old?
S: It’s old
T: So it’s the old box. (出示the old box)
S:学生还会说It’s on the sofa. (出示on the sofa)
T:What’s in the box? Guess! (学生猜)
T:Let’s go and open it.(出示Let’s go and open)
这样就完整的呈现Let’s go and open the old box.学生体会字母o的读音
2) T:Look,they give me a card.谈论卡片What’s on the card? What shape is it?
Do they make it or buy it? 学生回答
They make it for me. Make a card or buy a card. Which one is better? Why?
S: Meaningful, interesting, funny…
T: When they make this card, what do they need?
S: They need… 教师拓展scissors, glue

1) A T: On New Year’s Day, May and Jim want to give a card to their grandparents.
Listen to the tape and answer the question. Do they make one or buy one?

1)T:Boys and girls, do you want to make a New Year card for your friend?
S: Yes.
T: Now let’s make a card together. First, we can make many different shapes of
cards. I will give each group a piece of paper. You can make by it.(发卡纸)
Any shapes it’s OK. You can make a special one. Different shapes, different pictures, different colours. You can discuss and make it. (屏幕出示提示句,提醒学生边做边说英语)
Don’t forget to speak English. Don’t forget ask your partners.
S: 边做边说,学生上台展示3组。
2)总结:To buy is easy, to buy is quick.
To make is different, but great fun.
