教学目标

1. To learn and remember the new words: cap, hat, vest, trousers, belt, shoes.
2. To learn the new sentences:

3. To learn and use the pattern drill:
  Can I help you?
I’d like_________.
What color?
_______, please. How much?  
________yuan.

教学过程

Step1. Greetings & Free talk.
Hello, boys and girls.
What’s the date today?
What day is it today? (Ask ss to spell Tuesday)
What’s the season now?
What’s the weather like here in Spring?
What do you usually wear in Spring?
Step2. Lead-in.
How many seasons in a year?
What are they?
What’s the season after Spring?
What’s the weather like in Summer?
What do you usually wear in Summer?
Step3. Presentation.
1. I usually wear caps in Summer. (Teach: cap)
   cap         t a p ; c l a p  (Fill in the blanks)
    cup        
2. T: I’ve got lots of caps. But they are too old. I’d like a new one.
      Teach: I’d like …. = I want ….  (stick the sentence card on the bb)
      Chant: Cap, cap, I’d like a cap.
      Make chants with “…, …, I’d like a ….
…s/es.”
Body game:Stand in the right order

(4位孩子上讲台,每位孩子身上分别贴好I'd like a cap,但是必须打乱次序,随后请他们按照句子的正确顺序排列,其余学生做评委,即台上表演者排对顺序,台下学生即喊:"Yes, you are right.")

3. There are so many caps. What color do you like? / What’s your favourite color?

  (Ask ss to answer)
4. Show a black cap.
My favourite color is black?
  What about this one?
5. What’s this? (Let ss spell cap)
  Is it a cap, too?
  What color?
  It’s a green hat. (Teach: hat)
  We often wear a cap in Summer and we often wear a hat in winter.
6. Sing a song: What are you wearing?
Qs: What is Sally wearing?                 
What is Jenny wearing?                 
What is Michael wearing?               
      Stick the clothes card on the right places
7. Look, who is him?   
Stick the pic of Daming with coat and trousers on the bb in advance.
What is Daming wearing?
      Draw a sun above Daming.
      He’s very hot. He’d like a cap.
(Give a student a cap and a hat, let the s put the cap on his head.)
And it’s very hot, he’d like a vest instead. (Teach: vest)
Pay attention to the difference between west and vest. (The pronunciation: v)
vest  (Let ss see the collar “v”)
8. Can you buy a vest for Daming?
Show a shop.
Where is it?
Let ss listen: Can I help you? (stick the sentence card on the bb and teach.)
S1: I’d like a vest.
Computer: What color? (stick the sentence card on the bb and teach.)
You can answer: …, please. (stick the sentence card on the bb and teach.)
Let more ss ask and answer with the computer.
9. Look at his trousers. (Read and teach) What do you think?
  Show small trousers. They’re too small.
  And big trousers. Encourage ss to say: too big.
  He’d like a belt. (Teach: belt)
  Chant: belt, belt, I’d like a belt.
10. What’s missing? Look at his feet and toes.
   =>shoes – toes (Teach: shoe)
Step4. Play a game: Guess the price of Daming’s clothes. (The requirement)
S: I’d like ….
How much? (stick the sentence card on the bb and teach.)
S: ... yuan. (stick the sentence card on the bb.)
(If the price S guess is too low, the teacher or the students will say:"Up, up, up."; if too high, the teacher will say:'' Down, down, down." Each students has three chances to guess.)
Step5. Practice.
Let the ss practise the dialogue on the bb work in pairs.
Let the ss choose “A” to “I”, then practise with their partners.
If right, they can get the star that noted. But if wrong, no star.

教学反思

    根据三年级孩子的心理和生理特点,决定了英语课必须走“趣味”这条路。而英语课上,如果大家能动一动,学生肯定会喜欢。起始阶段,孩子对于英语句型没有概念,往往会小和尚念经“I'd like a cap”,但一旦拆分这些单词,孩子很难再将其拼凑成一句完整的话。通过让孩子“排一排”来体验这个句型,比教师练10个句子更有用,更关键的是孩子很喜欢。而“猜一猜”的游戏,也是因为信息差引起了孩子无穷的好奇,比起机械操练,孩子更能融入比赛情境,产生了教好的学习效果。
